1. Directory of the scene

Create a directory in Addon scenery and appoint a meaningful name. It is called here: ma_scene, but you can give any other name.

2. Placement of the contents of ZIP

In this directory ma_scene place the scenery and texture files in the ZIP.

3. Shortcut BGLCom

The ZIP contains a shortcut to the program BGLComp.exe that points to its default in the FSX SDK. The program compiles BGLComp.exe XML files to produce BGL files. If your SDK is installed other than the default, create your own shortcut.

Warning: Do not copy the program, but only make a shortcut.

4. Location

Open Flight Simulator X, go to the exact spot where you want to place the aircraft and take the static address LAT-LON.

5. Editing XML (position)

Transpose these details in the XML file (for editing the XML, click the right button and choose Edit).

6. Editing XML (other)

If necessary, change the parameters of altitude, heading, roll and pitch.

7. Saving XML

Save and close the XML file.

8. Compilation of the scene

Compiling the scene (drag the XML file on the shortcut BglCom.exe); BGL file with the same name as the XML file will appear in the file. If the file is not created BGL is that the XML file may be corrupted, check that you have not deleted the quotation marks, not cause a return line, not add more space ..

Only the file BGL (and textures) is required to publish your scene, not the MDL, or XML, and neither the shortcut.

9. Adding to the scene in FSX

Declaring the scene in FSX (in FSX, open the Library sets, add the scene ma_scene and make sure it is checked).

Subsequent amendments to the scene

To change the position, altitude or any other parameter of the device once installed, you must turn off the scene, make the change in the XML file and then reactivate the scene, as follows:

  1. off the stage (in the Library unmark scenery and return to the simulator),
  2. note the new address in the simulator,
  3. modify the XML file under the new information (steps 5 to 7),
  4. recompile the stage (stage 8),
  5. reactivate the scene (in the Library recocher scenery and return to the simulator)
